What's New...

I missed Good News Minute, I spent too much time this morning going over my talk for the millionth time! So if I leave something out I am so sorry! Carma had a bunch of her family come and visit, she was very excited about that! It is always nice to have company! Laura Hughes is about 5 weeks away from delivering, Am I the only one that thinks that is completely unfair?? She just barely announced!!!! Can't wait to have another little Hughes baby in our ward, we just love 'em! Stacey Gardner gave a great Lesson about controlling our tempers and not acting out in anger, what a GREAT Lesson we all need to work on! Since I was late, I didn't get a chance to make sure someone announced our RS & YW mini class any where so lets get talking about it and plan on coming the night of May 5th at 7:00 p.m. I also left the sign up sheet in RS for Supplies and Treats so look for them! I brought in a little baggy with what you need to bring so take a look at that also! I will do better next week, now that I have this LONG week behind me! Thanks Ladies for all your support!

What's New...

We had a fun good news minute today, I just love hearing about what is going on with everyone! Misty and Turley had a little girl, Bea was proud to share! Deb wasn't here today, but I know Cassie finally had her baby, another sweet little boy weighing 10 lbs. 2 oz.!!! Congrats to those Families and their new babies! Stacey Gardner and her family welcomed 2 new additions into their family also, Their Cow had twins!! Stacey invited everyone to drive by and take a look!! Anna Warrick had a great week, they signed on a new house, her husband got a new job, and they found out they are expecting baby number three!! I have to agree with Marilyn when she said she loves to hear about the girls in our Ward that have Married and moved away, it is great to know they are happy and doing well! Keep the news coming Ladies, we Love it!
What a great Ward Conference! It is always nice when the Stake Leaders come and visit our Ward! Thanks Sister Gubler for a wonderful lesson today on Prayer, It was perfect! Oh, I almost forgot, the Special Sisters Luncheon will be Tuesday the 20th @ 11:30 a.m. at the NewCastle Ward. It is sure to be GREAT, hope to see you there!

RS & YW combined Activity!

Everyone mark your calendars for Wednesday, May 5, 2010 @ 7:00 pm! We are combining our RS Meeting with the Young Women for a Girls Night Out! I had so many comments on these cute flowers I thought it would be a great time to invite the Young Women of our ward to join us! (I'm secretly just trying to get them excited about RS but don't tell them that...JUST BRING 'EM!!) So if you have a daughter in YW grab her and come join us! If you don't have a daughter in YW grab a friend and come join us! We will be making the adorable "Scrap Flowers" pictured to the right, of course a girls night out would not be complete without chocolate so there will be refreshments and FUN! Just in time for Mother's Day come learn how to make these GREAT gift ideas that have ENDLESS possibilities!!
Most of you will already have the stuff you need to make them!


Things To Bring:
Scrap Material or 1-2" ribbon at least 12" long
Felt
Beads, Buttons or any kind of Bling you want to add!
Needle and Thread (optional)

Keep an eye out on Sunday for the sign up sheets, I will have one going around for those of you that don't have scraps to use, and one for Refreshments! I am also going to arm a few people with scrap flowers so you can see how many different ways you can use them!

What's New...

We had some GREAT news in our Good News Minute today! Kiyla and Colby Hulet are going through the temple this month on the 24th! We want to Congratulate them, I love Eternal Families! Clint Gardner and his girlfriend Jamie got engaged over the weekend! We will be waiting to hear a Date, can't wait to have Jamie in our Ward! Deb Fitzwater is expecting a new grand baby any day, we wish Cassie was closer, we miss her! We will be waiting to hear when he arrives!! I guess it's a boy? I can't remember!! Let me know if I'm wrong! Don't forget Ward Conference next week!!
